GREAT Scholarships for justice and law
Justice and law postgraduate scholarships of £10,000 are available for students from a variety of countries to study subjects in this area, from human rights to criminal justice and commercial law

GREAT Scholarships for justice and law are for students who want to study law at a UK university for a one-year postgraduate course. Students can apply for courses in a range of justice and law-related subjects, including human rights, criminal justice and commercial law, at one of the 20 participating higher education institutions.

Each scholarship offers a minimum of £10,000 towards tuition fees. The justice and law scholarships are in partnership with the Ministry for Justice. They are jointly funded by the British Council, the GREAT Britain Campaign, and participating UK higher education institutions.

For the 2023-24 academic year, 20 justice and law postgraduate scholarships are available for students from the following countries (two scholarships for each country).

The GREAT Scholarships for Justice and Law is a new time-limited programme from the Study UK campaign and the Ministry of Justice.

The GREAT Scholarships for Justice and Law are jointly funded by the University of Cumbria with the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council.

We are offering one scholarship of £11,000 towards tuition fees for a one-year Master’s programme from the list below. This scholarship is for students from Malaysia who wish to enrol at the University of Cumbria for the 2022/23 academic year.

The University of Cumbria’s GREAT Justice and Law Scholarship is only open to applications from students in Malaysia.

To be eligible to apply you must be a citizen of Malaysia and have been a resident in Malaysia for the past 3 years.

Emile Boutmy Scholarships for Non-EU Students at Sciences Po

Brief description: 

Sciences Po created the Emile Boutmy Scholarships after the founder of Sciences Po in order to attract the very best international students from outside of the European Union who are first time applicants and who have been admitted to an Undergraduate or Master’s programme offered at the University.

Undergraduate Level
The Emile Boutmy Undergraduate Programme can take different forms ranging from €3,600 to €13,190 for the three years of undergraduate study.

Masters Level
The Emile Boutmy Master’s Programme is a tuition grant of €12,200 per year which covers part of the tuition fees for the two years of the Master’s degree programme.

Eligibility:

Eligible students are those, first time applicants, from a non-European Union state, whose household does not file taxes within the European Union, and who have been admitted to the Undergraduate or Master’s programme.

This scholarship is awarded based on factors of excellence and according to the type of profile sought for this programme. Social criteria are also taken into account.

Application instructions:

Students must indicate that they are applying for the Emile-Boutmy scholarship in the “Financial information” section of their Sciences Po application. Students may be asked to to provide a proof of income and documents explaining their family situation. For the academic year 2023-2024, the deadline for Master’s programmes is 30 November 2022 while the deadline for undergraduate programmes (from foreign secondary schools) is 22 February 2023.
